It was a picture-perfect Sunday, with the sky painted in bright, golden sunshine as the Afro Sunset Ritual kicked off at 3 PM. The energy was immediate, as over 800 people gathered to celebrate under the open sky.
The afternoon began with a masterful opening set by Sinitsa, whose selection acted as a magnetic force, irresistibly drawing the crowd to the dance floor. The energy shifted into high gear as four stunning dancers took the stage, their captivating performance an open invitation for everyone to join in. As the sun began its slow descent, painting the horizon in breathtaking hues, DJ Valentina took the reins. She perfectly soundtracked the transition from day to night, building the energy toward a thrilling climax. Her set was hypnotic—an infectious, soulful blend of deep house paired with The Mighty Djembe Drums, who delivered raw Afro rhythms in iconic tribal dress.
The collaboration between the Afro beats and live djembe was spellbinding; as they took over the stage, the crowd was drawn from their daybeds to the dance floor. With the massive LED screens on stage radiating a vibrant energy, it became a masterpiece of rhythm and atmosphere that no one will soon forget!
